Kitchen Table is a service that offers a free meal to children and their parents/carers from their household every Monday in the Parish Centre behind Christ Church on Stoke Road at 5pm (please arrive at 4:50pm to be seated) every week.
We are linked with local schools and hope to build relationships with young people and their families that encourage and demonstrate our commitment to sharing a meal together and tackling food instability.

There are no eligibility criteria to attend, however the meal is for those who are experiencing food insecurity.

To book, click the button above and it will take you to a form. Please book a ticket per person and not per family as we have limited spaces (for example if you are a parent with 3 children and a baby then you would need to select 5 tickets). Teenagers are counted as children for our records, but we will make sure they get a big enough portion.

We can accommodate most food intolerances/allergies but please add this to your booking so that we can contact you if needed to discuss. Our food is donated so we may need time to check! We will try our best to meet any additional needs and have some children who attend already with sensory food needs, and this is no issue. We also cater for pork/gelatine free and vegan if needed.

Unfortunately not. We are providing meals for children and their immediate family from their household. This is partly as parents have responsibility for their children whilst on site, and partly because our goal is both to provide food and encourage families to eat a meal together.

That's fine! We understand that things happen last minute, all we ask is that you cancel your booking as sometimes we are fully booked, and those spaces could be used for other people who might be short of money/food. It also avoids us wasting good fresh food.
